What information do we collect?
When you order from GingerChi or register on our site, we may ask you for information like name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card specifics as appropriate. You can also visit our site anonymously.
What happens to your information?
GingerChi will never sell, exchange, give or transfer your information, whether public or private, to another company for any reason, without your consent. You implicitly give us your consent to share information about payment or shipping with third parties. On our own site, we may use your information in some of these ways:
• To personalize your experience so that we can better respond to your individual needs
• To improve our website’s usability or offerings, based on information and feedback we receive from you
• To improve customer service
GingerChi may use the email address you give us for order processing to send you information and updates about an order. We may also occasionally send you company news, updates and related product or service information.
Note: If you ever want to unsubscribe from GingerChi emails, just follow the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.
How do we protect your information?
All sensitive or credit information you supply to us gets transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. It then gets encrypted into our Payment gateway provider’s database, where only select personnel with special authorization can access the information. Providers and their employees are required to keep this data confidential.
We do not store your private information on our servers after a transaction.
What about cookies?
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We don’t sell, trade, or transfer your personal information to outside parties. The only exceptions occur in the case of trusted third parties who help us operate our website, conduct our business or serve you – with the legal agreement that these parties will keep this information confidential. We may also release your information if we believe issues of compliance with the law, enforcement of our site policies, or protection of rights or safety have arisen.

We must receive payment for your order (including handling and/or shipping charges, as well as sales tax for orders shipped within New York) before we can process it. GingerChi accepts VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express, and we debit payment from your account before we ship your order.
GingerChi ships via USPS First Class unless you request other arrangements. We ship from our NY location within 3 days of receipt (but usually on the day of). GingerChi offers free shipping for orders of $100 or more (after any discounts).
FOR EXPEDITED SHIPPING PLEASE request email email@example.com with ‘Expedited Shipping’ in the subject heading. Please be sure to include your contact information.
Please include any special shipping instructions or requests in the "Comments" section of the checkout page. Also please double-check your contact information (particularly Phone Number and Email Address), so that we can get in touch promptly if there’s a problem. When you submit your order, we’ll send you an email confirming your GingerChi purchase, including a link for checking your order status. If you need to change your order, please email us immediately, and we’ll do our best to help you.
Happiness helps clear the way of beauty, so we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If one of our products isn’t working as you anticipated, we’ll gladly recommend an alternative, and exchange it for your purchase. If you’d rather just return an item, you have 14 days from the date of receipt to arrange for a refund. Just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and a brief explanation. Please know that shipping fees for returns and exchanges are your responsibility, and GingerChi can’t refund the original shipping and handling charges. Also please make sure that you get approval for a return, because otherwise we can’t accept it. Returns of sale or discontinued items will receive GingerChi credit. You can also rest assured that we do not resell returned items.
ITEMS ON BACK ORDER
GingerChi works hard to keep all of our products in stock and ready for you. To ensure freshness and quality, we don’t stock large quantities of sensitive products. If you want an item that has sold out, we’ll email you with an expected replenishment date and keep you apprised of progress.

SALES AND COUPON CODES
If you have a GingerChi coupon, just enter the coupon code on the checkout page to receive your discount. We can’t accept expired coupon codes, and you can’t combine a coupon with sale items unless specifically noted.
Credit Card payments made via www.gingerchi.com are transferred to our processing agency via an encrypted format. GingerChi does not store account numbers or share your personal data with any other entity.
WARRANTIES AND LIABILITIES
GingerChi uses organically grown ingredients whenever possible. We do not yet have certification as an organic product line in accordance with USDA standards. Any information provided on our website, labels or any other printed material serves educational purposes only. Statements on our website, labels and other printed material have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Information provided by GingerChi, and GingerChi products in general are not intended to treat, diagnose, cure or prevent any disease.
Please check label ingredients to avoid allergic reactions. GingerChi and its founders will not be held accountable for allergic reactions, injury, illness or death resulting from use of these products. The shelf life of each GingerChi product may be shortened or extended depending on the batch and/or customer care. It’s your responsibility to store products in a cool, dry space out of direct sunlight. You should never allow non-sterile objects to come in contact with GingerChi products in their containers. Nor should you allow dropper tips to touch non-sterile surfaces or infected areas, since this may cause product contamination and/or lessen shelf life.
GingerChi is not responsible for the misuse of any GingerChi product. Our products are meant for external use only, and our company and/or founders will not be held accountable for improper use of any items purchased or received from GingerChi.
